British Airways is to increase its long-haul fuel surcharge
from tomorrow (Thursday).
The carrier will charge an extra £10 per sector, blaming the
move on the increase in the price of oil.
No short-haul fares will be affected.
The hike will mean passengers on World Traveller flights more
than nine hours long will now pay £76 in fuel charges, while those
on flights less than this time period will pay £63.
Those in World Traveller Plus will pay £94.50 for flights over
nine hours and £73 for flights less than nine hours. For First and
Club World flights, the rates are £108 and £88 respectively.
